Virtus is an advanced device for monitoring and control over environmental conditions. It allows for independent monitoring of parameters with multiple sensors and control of system components.
It enables automatic response to signals, task scheduling, as well as built-in logical capabilities and Lua language support. Compatible with various communication protocols, it integrates with other devices and the cloud.
Virtus can be powered in several ways: via PoE, 12 or 48V DC. The compact enclosure designed to mount inside a rack cabinet and an integrated Real-Time Clock make it a perfect solution for efficient and flexible rack cabinet monitoring.
Virtus offers advanced solutions for monitoring environmental parameters. Being equipped with 2 relay outputs, it can be used to control various system components, for example by starting a fan if a set temperature or humidity threshold is exceeded.
Key functions
Automatically responds to signals from sensors and digital inputs, executing programmed actions, e.g. by controlling outputs or sending notifications.
Uses the Cron syntax of Linux systems for scheduling time-based actions.
Features Logic and Lua script language for executing complex logical operations without the need for external controllers.
Supports popular communication protocols such as HTTP(s), MQTT(s), SNMP, Modbus TCP and RTU, allowing for integration with various devices.
The device is housed in a 1U metal enclosure designed to mount inside telecommunications and network equipment racks.
Device Overview
Sensors: Supports a variety of environmental sensors such as temperature, humidity, water flooding, phase loss/power failure, light brightness, air pressure, water pressure, CO/CO₂/NOₓ gases, door opening (reed switch) and others on special request. Thresholds for triggering actions can be customised.
External device power: +5V and 12V DC voltages are provided to the user (e.g. for powering sensors). The voltages are available no matter which power supply method is used.
Actions: Configurable functions triggered by events such as temperature changes or input fluctuations, including email alerts or HTTP requests.
Inputs: Provides digital inputs with pulse counter and noise filter, enabling a variety of functions, such as long-press detection or pulse frequency comparison.
Outputs: Provides NO/NC relay outputs operating in different modes, such as bistable or timed, with the possibility of assigning them to different sources.
