Exter - a reader that can operate autonomously, sending the number of the read card via RS485 or RS232 interface. It can also be used as an extension reader with the main reader in the BoxID series. Ideal for mounting on the other side of the door, it provides a convenient and secure solution.
The device can operate autonomously, in which case the data frame contains only the read card number, or it can work with readers from the BoxID/Clocker or IND2/RCP2 series, acting as an extension for the main reader. In such scenario, Exter is directly connected to the master reader to which it sends data about the read card. Exter can be mounted, for example, outside the building, while the main reader is placed inside, controlling an electromagnetic latch. Such solution reduces the cost of equipment and helps in work time recording - one reader (external) is responsible for starting, and the other (interior) for finishing the work.

Important!
In the order comment, please specify which standard the reader should operate with.
For the LF version, Unique is loaded by default, but it can be HID Prox or Hitag 1/2/S.
For the HF version, it is Mifare Classic, but it can be ICODE or iClass (CSN only).
The module is equipped with an LED indicator and buzzer.
